I have what looks like a skin tag on my scalp? it was painful to the touch at the outset (about 6 weeks ago). it is not that painful to touch any more (just a wee bit). is this something i can remove with a home remedy? advice?

It is hard to comment on any skin growth that arises on the skin without pictures or exam, neither of which are allowed through this site. This could be something benign /or not. I would bring it up when you go in for your next doc visit.

If it is not a cosmetic issue, leave it alone. You are likely to make matters worse by trying to remove it. If the tag more than doubles in size, ulcerates, bleeds or other tags develop, see a doctor.
