Per description it sounds like a deep hematoma that is bleeding inside the muscle and among other possibilities. The possibility of a spontaneous hematoma would be higher if you have been on blood thinners. Seeing your doc timely would be best in getting a firm diagnosis.

Seems one is having some form of abnormal bleeding/Blood Clotting issue, which should be attended to as promptly as possible. A visit to PCP or Urgent Care is indicated soonest,

As my colleagues have mentioned, this is an urgent situation. Sounds like bleeding over thigh region with pain "down the leg". Important to assess status of arteries and veins ASAP, and concurrently the stability of the hematological systems. This must be handled in an ED or urgent care center now. Hope it all gets controlled soon.
