Certainly avoid any additional trauma to your eyes! However, if you have no pain and your sight is unchanged, it is unlikely that you've done any significant damage. If the sight is affected or you have pain, see an ophthalmologist.

You need to see an ophthalmologist. Most of the time a little steam from a kettle is harmless, but there is the possibility of a thermal burn which may require treatment. Even then, most thermal burns of the eye have good recovery, but the possibility of permanent vision loss is real -- even more so without exam and treatment if necessary. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7105268/
