Any CRP value below 10 is normal and indicates no serious systemic inflammation problem. A change from 0.4 to 1.0 is meaningless, especially if you otherwise are feeling well and are outwardly healthy. If you do have unexplained symptoms or are feeling unwell, see a doctor. Otherwise don't worry about it.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the difference between 0.4 and 1.0 is not clinically meaningful and well within normal limits. Wish you good health!
