Elevated CRP: Increased C-reactive protein (CRP) is a lot like fever: it indicates inflammation in the body, but innumerable medical conditions can cause it. In-person medical care will be necessary to sort it out, which probably will include advice to take your temperature on a regular basis, careful history of symptoms you may have, physical exam, and additional blood tests.
