I had ankle hardware removal surgery years after fracture - i am resting in bed elevating my foot but also walking around at points throughout the day - do i need to take aspirin to reduce dvt risk? or since i am already walking i do not need to? 37m?

Post surgical care is vital to discuss with the surgeon who took your hardware out. Typically aspirin and other blood thinners are not used close to the time of surgery as they can lead to more bleeding.
