Time to see doc as a movement disorder has to be ruled out. Best to start with your primary care doc who would be able to coordinate based on findings on the exam a possible referral to a neurologist specializing in movement disorders.

Shaking of extremities or head can indicate a neurological problem. You should have a full workup to determine what is going on. Start with your primary care Dr who can order baseline tests, conduct a full physical exam and take a thorough history. If there are positive findings on the neurological part of the exam, they can refer you to a neurologist.

Most likely you possess an heredo-familial essential tremor which could readily be handled by a neurologist. Since other conditions such as hyperthyroidism might cause similar symptoms, it is best to have a thorough evaluation.
