Chiropractic high velocity, high amplitude, neck manipulations, in my opinion, are archaic and risky, and should never be done, and most chiropractors avoid this approach. In your case, you had an adverse response, unlikely to have developed arterial dissection secondary to your neck treatment, but this could be delayed. Contact your regular physician, and discuss whether Carotid Duplex needed.
