I did a blood test & urine test. my gp said my blood test is normal, but the glucose in my urine is slightly positive, although she said it's not significant. could this be diabetes?

Need more information. Was your blood taken after an 8 hour fast? What was the plasma glucose value? You could consider getting an A1c test that does not require fasting. With the information you provided it is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion. Wish you good health!

Could be. To be sure you need HBA1c. Discuss with Dr. especially if you have a family history of diabetes.
