A member asked:

Can a small amount of glucose in urine be normal? my gp said i have an insignificant amount of glucose in my urine & that my blood test was normal. i am peeing frequently though. could it be something less serious than diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If you are pregnant, that may explain glycosuria without diabetes. There are disorders of kidney tubules that can cause glycosuria. If your glycosuria (Glucose in urine) persists, it would be prudent to consult a nephrologist. Wish you good health!
