Ask your physcian if tou have "Hashimoto's thyroiditis." (You may need an antibody panel for this.) If you do it can be the cause of the alopecia and it will be more difficult to manage. And, has your hyperthyroidism been treated: it can cause anxiety like features. This is usually evaluated by an endocrinologist.

Hyperthyroidism can cause or exacerbate anxiety, palpitations, and tremors. It can also be associated with alopecia as part of the autoimmune polyglandular syndrome. An endocrinologist can better delineate associated conditions and the need for their treatment.
