Rare STDs that are usually not tested are bacterial vaginosis(BV) , ureoplasma and mycoplasma -.They are treated empirically BV with Flagyl , ureoplasma/ mycoplasma with doxycycline-discuss with MD. Check for prostatitis and get ultrasound( if possible when pain is present) to check for intermittent torsion. Also check for ilioinguinal (Captain Morgan maneuver) or lumbar dysfunction. F/U w/ MD
