Go to Drugs.com and enter all meds you are on for an interaction check. Discuss with your Dr. More likely to be struck by lighting is my estimate.

It's been more than an hour by now and your still breathing so you are fine. I would contact your doctor or ask the pharmacist about your concerns of the possible effects. Side effects do not happen to everybody but you want to be aware of them.

You have gum disease, a virulent infection. Gum disease can and will spread to other organ systems. The infection has to be treated. More chance of damage from then infection than from the antibiotic. Antibiotic will slow spread of infection, but hnnds-on Dental treatment by a gum/bone specialist, a Periodontist, is required. Pills alone will not cure periodontal disease.
