Gastritis can be from an infection by H.Pylori which needs treatment. I am assuming that was negative as you did not mention it. Gastritis can also be from excessive NSAID use, gastric acid and a bile reflux into the stomach. So discuss with your gastroenterologist as to the lifestyle changes and medications you may need.
