What's in it ? Most hand sanitizers in the US are made with ethyl alcohol and a few additives that make it taste bad. They would have little effect on someone more than any alcoholic beverage. Some are made with Isopropyl alcohol, that is a little more toxic but not worrisome. Some are made with methanol which is very toxic. When you post you should list the ingredients.

A small exposure to hand sanitizer is likely OK. It doesn’t sound like you swallowed it and you rinsed thoroughly. Most alcohol containing hand sanitizers are irritating but not toxic unless swallowed. The alcohol is ethanol or isopropyl alcohol most often. There was hand sanitizer made outside the US that contained methanol which can be much more toxic if ingested. Check the contents.
