My grandbaby 4 had hand foot and mouth, a bad case, then immediately the doctor suspected she had some bronchitis. it cleared and she went a week seemingly well. now she is having a high fever and does not want to swallow. could this be strep?

At that age the symptom pattern is more likely viral than strep but only testing cans sort out which is which.

Please follow up with your Pediatrician. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and drooling. Provide soothing fluids and monitor temperature and breathing. A COVID-19 and strep test may be helpful.
