Good day doctors. my tonsils seemed to be inflamed on the left hand side and my glan is very swollen and sore that i cant even swallow without intense pain. my chest also seems to be a bit heavy. could this be a symptom of covid and should i test?

COVID testing: These could be COVID 19 symptoms. Not sure where you live. In South Africa- one needs to consult with a medical provider who will make determination about whether to test for COVID 19 or not. You can consult your local primary care provider. There are also other resources such as “Talk –to-Doctor” on HealthTap. In USA the testing policies vary by state. Strep throat is another possibility.
