Prozac (P) with Wellbutrin (W) or Buspar (B) scores a C (monitor effects) on the Lexicomp® Drug Interactions scale. W with B scores a rare A (no interaction). P enhances the excitatory effects (including seizures) of W which, in turn increases blood levels of P. B with P can cause serotonin syndrome (confusion, muscle spasms, diaphoresis). Combining Prozac with both carries a substantial risk.
