It is a common practice to relate any relevant history and or physical findings to a specialty consultant when a doctor arranges a consult. I would find it unprofessional if they did not. I would also not assume anything else was part of that discussion.

Had a Spinal Tap test for MS, the first part indicated normal level of protein, still waiting for the remaining of the results. Given normal level of protein doesn't mean I am clear of MS? Correct? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all you physician?
