My primary care doctor has scanned my living will into his computer. is it wise to go to my local hospital to have them enter it into their system in case i enter the hospital without decision making ability sometime in the future? am 70;live alone?

As important if not even more important is having your health care proxy completed with your doc and making sure your proxy is aware of your wishes. If electronic medical systems are communicating between your doc and the local hospital, your Living Will can be accessed when and if needed.
