One rare adverse effect of sertraline is low sodium in blood (hyponatremia) which can be problematic at times. If your sodium is normal by blood test when taking Sertraline, a moderate fluid intake should not be a big deal; however, if you sodium is low, high fluid intake can worsen hyponatremia. If you do not have blood test result, limit fluid (water, drinks...) intake less than 1.5 liters a day

If you mean alcoholic drinks, then you have to define moderate is no more than one 12 ounce beer, one mixed drink, one glass of wine, one shot of liquor, and only one of them at a time no more than once a week - this is what I advise my patients were taking psychotropic medications. More than that runs the risk of the alcohol getting you harder as well as lessening the benefits of the medication.
