A member asked:

Can eye infection cause yellowing of the eye? how is bacterial uveitis diagnosed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If both eyes turn yellow it would be due to jaundice caused by backing up of bile in the body from liver disease or blockage of bile ducts. The only cause of yellow in only one eye that I could think of would be days following a burst blood vessel in the white of the eye. Bacterial uveitis causes pain, redness of the eye with associated cloudy vision. An ophthalmologist can advise you further.
