A 33-year-old female asked:

Occasionally after going poop i wipe & it's like clear mucus. i noticed this for years. i think i'm noticing it happens more when my stools are hard. i seem to get constipated if i don't drink enough water for 1-2 days or eat enough fiber. concerning?

Not concerning for as long as you avoid constipation with the measures you described, hydration and extra fiber, added to which increasing the level of physical activities should help as well.
