A member asked:

Is this normal? a mildly enlarged retroflexed uterus measuring 9.7 x 5.6 x 4.1 cm. endometrial thickness is 0.83 cm. left ovary measures 3.5 x 1.8 x 2.6 cm. there is some fluid noted in the lower uterine segment and cervix?

The measurements noted are essentially normal, but could be better interpreted if more information about regularity of your menses were included. For example, the endometrial thickness is close to requiring a biopsy (0.83 cm), so if your period has been delayed, stimulation of endometrial growth may be the cause of the increased endometrial thickness.

It would be helpful to know why you had an ultrasound. However, the measurements are within a normal range.
