Normally, when you have one kidney removed the other kidney will compensate and it should get bigger than the kidneys of the individual at the same age with 2 intact kidneys. However, your remained kidney show cortical thinning which means you definitely has significant chronic kidney disease. Serum creatinine level, urinalysis result and current weight are needed for an accurate assessment.
