Can the pudendal nerve be responsible for any sensation to the area above the penis? in the pubic area usually where your pant zipper would be?

No, pudendal nerve does not provide sensory function to that area. It provides sensory function to these areas: penis, posterior scrotum, clitoris, labia, anal canal.
