It sounds like you have a chalazion, or stye. I would seek care with an eye care professional for advice.

This is probably a chalazion, caused by blockage in a tube which drains an oil gland in the eyelid. 90% of the time, you can treat this at home with hot compresses to melt the plug followed by squeezing the lid. Don't push on the eyeball. It may take several attempts over a few days. If it does not get better, see an ophthalmologist. hhttps://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17657-chalazion
