My left eye hurts in the outer corner when i blink. there is a sharp pain, but no swelling on eyelid. what should i do??

There may be a small, impacted foreign body but you could not see it. If it is true you can try to wash the left eye with clean water or using artificial eye drop to flush it out.

You may have a small scratch which will heal on its own. You may also have a foreign body which you may be able to rinse out. It may be the beginning of a stye, or chalazion. Try rinsing your eye and turning the eyelid inside out to look for a foreign body. If the problem persists, see an ophthalmologist.
