The Eyes Have It: A common side for those who drive with the window down. Maybe a small foreign body (if it won't wash out, see a doctor), or the start of a stye ('hordeolum'), which is a small infection of the eyelid that can eventually get pretty big. Get in the shower and rinse the eye good. If that helps, wait and see if an infection develops (red, swollen), if not, read the first sentence again.
