Had colonoscopy 3 days ago. had lower back pain prior. now have mild soreness in my left hip /side area. think its related to lower back issues. really dont want radiation from cat. could this be a puncture this high up near the hip?

I agree that your hip,side discomfort is more likely to be of musculoskeletal nature. If the colon was perforated I would expect pinpoint pain and expanding tenderness in the lower left abdomen with subsequent fever & chills and bloating. Rectal bleeding also may occur. If you still have concerns notify your MD or the gastroenterologist of your current discomfort.
