May be ulcer, or not: Upper abdominal pain can be from "acid" pains, such as a stomach ulcer, just gastritis with no ulcer, or reflux (heartburn). Sometimes there is an ulcer in the first part of the small intestine. An infection with h. Pylori bacteria can lead to stomach ulcer pains. An acid blocker like zoton can help. Needs more evaluation by the doctor. Pancreatitis, gallstones, or various cancers can also occur.
