Family has ankylosing spondylitis(as) gene, hla-b27 that comes from dad. currently mine is inactive. but there is a medicine that could potentially trigger autoimmune disease which i was explained was as, could mine get triggered by this med if taken?

Your question is hard to answer, as not clear if your genetics are heterozygous, or you have experienced incomplete penetrance, or you have your Mom's heredity. There is NO such medicine approved by FDA which would "trigger autoimmune disease" but if you find such a product, please let us know.
