Is kn95 same as n95? i have some kn95 but i didn't use them yet because i want to be on the safe side... i have kn95 and 4 ply surgical are both good enough?

Early in the pandemic the FDA acknowledged the KN95 rating used by some countries as equivalent to the N95 masks. When properly used and maintained they are far superior to most face coverings in common use.

The KN95 is clearly superior to cloth and paper masks, but as Dr Ferguson indicates, must be worn properly. Many folks leave their nose exposed, which is a bad idea. Have a nurse or doctor instruct if unclear.
