Reduced appetite after shoulder surgery(open capsular plication) it's been 3 weeks and i have lost 8lbs, my appetite still isn't normal.is this normal?

Unusual: It is unusual to loose this much weight after shoulder surgery unless you lost lot of blood in the surgery. Some of the pain medication and even the iron supplements can cause nausea and loss of appetite. Hopefully in the next three or four weeks this will resolve .Good luck.

Pain: Once pain gone and off pain meds, your appetite should return.
