A member asked:

Does the covid-19 vaccines last past 6 months? is a booster needed after 6 months?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Food and Drug Administration has not issued an opinion about the need for a third/booster dose. International data suggests that it would be useful to administer a third dose 6-8 months following second dose. People with immune suppression or immune deficiency should take the third dose at 6 or so months after the second dose.
