COVID risk: Protection increases with time; the longer afrer the first dose of vaccine, the lower the risk. But even after the second dose, you could still be infected. The vaccine protects against symptoms, especiallly serious illness -- but maybe not against mild infection that can be transmitted to others. That's why masking and social distancing must continue even among vaccinated persons.

Yes: The initial COVID 19 vaccine does not provide for full protection against COVID 19. A number of weeks after getting the second vaccine dose- protection is reported to be around 94 to 95%.

Agree with Dr. F: You could get Covid infection between the two doses, however, even first dose is expected to provide protection from serious illness. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
