Severe abdominal pain (upper abdomen, sometimes radiating to the back), nausea and vomit are the most common symptoms of acute pancreatitis. If you do not have ultrasound of the gallbladder and biliary tract done yet it should be done because the most common cause of pancreatitis is gallstone.
