I have a dry cough and burning lungs because i inhaled humidifier smoke (which had essential oils) through my mouth and choked on the vapor. i wanted to know why i am experiencing just these symptoms and what it may be?

I don’t (and I’ll bet you don’t) really know what “essential oils” are. You’re probably inhaling moderately irritating chemicals that are irritating your bronchial tubes. Usually doesn’t cause permanent damage (but, of course, sometimes they do). Check with the manufacturer - I’m sure they’ll be happy to tell you - Ha)
