Post exertion: Strenuous exercise probably causes post exertional bronchial irritation and there may also be a type of exercise induced asthmatic cough as well. This may or may not be accompanied by some wheezing. A consultation with a pulmonologist would be helpful for diagnosis and treatment advice. Using a bronchial dilating inhaler like albuterol may prevent these post exertional respiratory tract symptoms
