A member asked:

I have seen numerous specialists and had lots and lots of tests, and none could find the cause of my bleeding gums (not a hygiene problem). could an allergy to food dyes cause bleeding gums?

"Bleeding gums" if many other causes have been investigated and ruled out are frequently the result of tooth decay and resulting gingivitis. See a endodontist for an exam and diagnosis, if not already included in "lots of tests" done.
