I have had gastritis and feeling better now. had the endoscopy .all biopsies werr benign. doing great but last night ate a bowl of potatoes with butter. this morning stomach ache and pale stool. was this the potatoes?

Typical GI transit time is 30 hours so the change in character of your stool in the absence of diarrhea, is that the potatoes are still in the digestive transit pathway. Was the endoscopy in the last 24 hours which would affect transit time.?

My upper endoscopy of stomach showed reactive gastritis on biopsy. Next biopsy 8 months later showed slight linear erosion but biopsy came back 'within normal limits'. What does this mean? Has the reactive gastritis resolved?
