A member asked:

I'm a healthcare worker. i've been expose to covid19 positive patient when i attend to her at the counter. i only wearing a mask and not wearing any face shield. she also wearing a mask. the probability for me to get virus covid19 is high or low?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If you were exposed to this person only briefly & you both had masks the risk should be low. Usually the risk is with an exposure time of 15 mins or so @ less than 6 feet away, but almost nothing is 100% with this virus. Stay healthy with good diet, adequate rest, outdoor exercise, plus the other things you are doing.
