Any lesion that has appeared and not resolved within two weeks should be investigated, especially if it is causing you severe pain. Time to visit your dentist.

While most common cause of pro-facial pain is infection, there are textbooks full of other reasons. "Bump" is not a diagnosis. Please see a Dentist ASAP to determine the etiology of the bump and the appropriate diagnosis, from which the correct treatment plan can be determined. Sorry, you can't fix this with a few computer clicks. You need hands-on treatment. Please see a Dentist.
