Doc has instructed me to try debrox for ear wax buildup/impaction to soften it up. says to use for a month, and if it fails theyll clean it professionally in the office. bottle says to use no more than 4 days. any harm in using it for a month?

The note on the label is something the companies lawyers told them to add. The idea is to make you check with the doc if you need it longer. If the doc says do it you should. They have day to day experience in this area. You may just be able to avoid a technically difficult office procedure.

Ear wax stuck in ear? I took a shower last night and i still have some sort of water/wax buildup impairing my hearing in my left ear. I tried dropping rubbing alcohol in it and using an expired tube of debrox, but no luck, yet also no physical pain.
