I am not familiar with infection control practices in the UAE, but assuming practitioners follow universal precautions between patients you have nothing to worry about. All instruments are sterilized between patients to prevent disease transmission.

Assuming your Dentist observes Universal Protocols, there is no reason to be concerned. Handpieces are sterilized after each procedure, and returned to the opratory before you are seated. If concerned, ask your Dentist to review his/her protocols with you.
