Am somewhat confused by the wording of your post. Gather you wish opinion involving neck surgery. If the spinal cord is becoming compressed and secondary symptoms are emerging, I too would endorse decompressive surgery, but if no dangerous mass effect, conservative treatment could be attempted. If progressive weakness, bladder problems, or severe pain emerges, these are compelling indications.
