Hello as i read on cdc , hiv combo test conclusive after window period wich is 45 days , is it true or did i understand wrong ? why some doctor recommend to retest after 3 month ? what the test time frame strategy to execlude hiv infection? thank?

45 days is correct and always conclusive, except if taking anti-HIV drugs (PEP, PrEP). (Some experts round it to 6 weeks.) Three months was standard practice and advice for years, and some doctors and even public health agencies just haven't gotten around to changing. In some cases, the doctors or clinics do not understand the newer tests, including the antigen-antibody (AgAb, "combo") test.
