I was wearing a surgical mask and i wonder if the two sides of the masks enter any germs when were walking? because nose and mouth was covered, but cheeks isnt; do any droplets or germ insert from tiny sides of the mask?

A surgical mask does not eliminate “germs” (bacteria, viruses, etc.) from getting to your nose/mouth. But, it does decrease the amount that either comes from your cough/sneeze to someone else or enters your mask. A mask is one mode of defense-vaccines are an even more effective line of defense! So, get vaccinated! Good luck to you!
