A member asked:

Rheum diagnosed fibromyalgia 2019 at the time creatine kinase 711. also b12 1807 and ferritin 246 but gp did not share those results with rheum. would rheum still diagnose fibro if they had known? do you think this is still fibro?

Fibromyalgia is an exclusionary diagnosis, and is often incorrect. Similar symptoms can be seen with small fiber neuropathies, and even some cases of diffuse myositis. Recommend contacting all the doctors involved in your care and discussing your concerns.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the results you provided do not exclude fibromyalgia. Wish you good health!
