A member asked:

I am fully vaccinated with pfizer. i had a potential exposure three days ago. could a pcr test give me a false positive in that i fought it off but still show positive? could a rapid antigen test give me a good idea if i was positive at this point?

A PCR test is more reliable in detecting the virus. Fully vaccinated people can get infection, however, almost always it is asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic. The person though can spread the virus to others. That is one of the reasons, CDC has advised to wear masks, even for those who are vaccinated. Wish you good health!
